Plan your next vacation or retreat at the historic Kelly Lake Ranch, a Bed & Breakfast with a ranch house and four cabins, on the Cariboo Gold Rush Trail. During the gold rush, the road passed between the barn and the present-day ranch house of this 230 acre ranch.

Today, B.C. Rail has a flag stop on the guest ranch. Guests have breakfast in a glassed-in sun room overlooking gardens and corrals; the cabins have kitchens where guests prepare their own meals. Horses are available for rent. Hikers and riders enjoy scenic open trails, lakes and alpine meadows.

The Ranch is approximately 230 acres of pastures, hayfields and some mountain side forests. Some 80 acres are under hay cultivation, the irrigation coming from Porcupine Creek, which flows through the property. There is ample room for the stock — currently horses for private use and riding.

Two Provincial Parks that skirt the Ranch offer many pleasant trails to explore on horseback or hiking. The Cougar Valley presents a beautiful vista not seen from the beaten pathway. There is much untamed country to appreciate.

Kelly Lake is a picturesque and tranquil spot to go for a relaxing time. The lake is only a short walk from the Ranch. Bring the canoe, or just a picnic lunch to this Provincial Park site and fish, swim or simply enjoy the peace and quiet of this summer playland.
